Intel is really awful with this. AMD is better but slowly getting to Intel levels.
I don't follow, I thought AMD was less efficient. You say it's the other way around but it's getting worse? Or I'm reading it wrong?

Ohh it's been a long time since I last used gentoo! I remember I used to love the green/blue (I hope my memory isn't failing me) combination everywhere </3.
I stopped using it because building the updates on multiple machines was becoming a pain and had a couple of drives fail, but those were good times!
I use apt-get, I don't care about how "pleasing" the package manager is, I just want it to do its job and get off the way.. But pacman.. I don't know why, but it's so beautiful, charming and cute, how do they do it?
It's a VGA connector, used for screens. You can still find them if you look hard enough.
I agree. We need more of these!
Fancy! TIL about pam_mount. Thanks, comrade!
Amazing! How do you setup the decryption on login? systemd-home or something like that?
So sad to have this downvoted, the video is great
If you think about, it makes sense, but I didn't know this! Really cool indeed - do you have any use case for that or you were just poking around?
This is the way to go, IMHO.
Syncthing was weird at first, but it's super simple, it shouldn't take too long to get used to it.
It is, indeed, in a very unfortunate state - that's the best description I've heard.
I'd have to check navidrome, but so far I think subsonic is the way to go. There are many options for servers and apps, (none of them is particulary awesome,) but I've been enjoying my setup of gonic on the server, dsub on the phone and sublime music on the pc.
In the other hand, mpd for is working pretty well for room music - to me, they complement each other.
Fancy. TIL, thanks!
