Yeah software rendering sucks a lot for Nvidia users. I'm on AMD.

In my experience, Waydroid kinda sucked. It used more resources than an Android Emulator on Windows did with less performance in games. Of course, they're different technologies (containerized vs VM) but the experience was vastly different. It lacks so many QoL features. You can't dynamically change resolution. Can't bind keys by default (need to install something for it) etc Wayland requirement was also a trouble for me (It didn't work quite well and I kept running into issues) Intel > AMD > Nvidia for Waydroid
Worst game of the year so far
Yeah I wasn't talking about getting it the legal way. They don't care unless you're a business.
I understand you want people to switch to Linux but
- 90 weeks is far away. It drops in October 2025
- You'll still get security updates for a few years
- After that there will be paid support which people will get around and find ways to install
- Windows 10 LTSC (best version of Windows IMO) still exists. The Enterprise LTSC version will have support till 2027 and the IoT version will have support till 2032. You can get them if you know how to look around
It's because VAC kinda sucks. People will rather have a functioning anti-cheat with more access than play with cheaters.
I mean Dolphin gives a prompt for the same thing when I launch it.
Yup, the AUR is a godsend. I barely touch the other methods and only use AppImages when I'm too lazy.
uBO Dev already shared it in the twitter thread but here you go
https://gitlab.com/adblockinc/ext/adblockplus/adblockplusui/-/issues/1576#note_1725604837
That's a separate issue. The bugs on AdBlock And AdBlock Plus extensions affect not only YouTube but other websites as well (as said by uBO dev). This isn't on google but the extensions themselves.
X is old and works for the most part but fixing stuff or adding features is hard.
Wayland is new and is supposed to be a successor to X, do what it couldn't do and don't repeat the mistakes from it. It should be a drop-in replacement like pipewire but isn't. Features take long time to develop as devs are engrossed thinking of the best solution to make it happen. A lot of proposed solutions are dismissed as well.
Don't forget the employee who led a harassment campaign against the curator, came back from Twitter suspension just to disrespect Akira Toriyama's legacy.
