OneDrive scans all the files on your computer regardless of whether you use it or not.

Just delete the software and only use it from your browser.

Or just delete Windows and use Linux.

And when China befriends them by checks notes not acting batshit insane on the world stage, the Americans will be complaining about how China is trying to manipulate the world like they haven't been doing that.

Get a single board computer or a used micro PC and install Linux on it.

Would solve all of the operational problems inside the Inside Out brain-factory-thing.

It is how kids are

Hellll no. Have you seen how cruel kids are to each other in school? If you show any amount of weakness or insecurity or difference from the norm, everyone will gang up on you and make your life hell. There are literally cases of children being driven to suicide or developing mental illness due to bullying. Kids derive pleasure from making their peers feel inferior to them, much more so than adults. Kids are also some of the most intolerant, us-vs-them people, spread rumours because they think it's fun to put down someone else, pretend to warm up to people they perceive as useful to themselves and throw them away as soon as their usefulness is depleated (copying homework is probably the most common example), threaten their friends with ostracism to make them fall in line, say horrible things to people they don't know on the internet, exploit the ignorance of their peers to scam them (ever had someone try to convince you that a really rare trading card is actually a terrible one, and they're being so kind to trade you for something better to take that bad card off your hands?), straight up steal stuff from their peers, etc etc. Nice kids are not a given, they are a small minority and their parents have to carefully mould those attributes into them. Kids left to their own devices with insufficient parental discipline are horrible, which implies that their default nature is one of selfishness and cruelty, not compassion.

That's when they can't think of any good arguments against you so they start gas lighting you and insinuating that you're just cranky so your opinions aren't valid

"What is my purpose?"

"None. You don't get executed ever because the very first thing I do upon getting a new computer is boot into UEFI and install Linux."

Complaining about China or AI stealing jobs while under capitalism is like complaining about blood loss from stab wounds killing people while there's a serial killer on the loose.

Bruh, mass deportions were LITERALLY THE FIRST STEP ON THE PLAN THE NAZIS HAD WRITTEN DOWN on how they would kill all the Jews.

I have a Tinker Edge T as a server, and it's running Mendel Linux which is a default debian-based OS recommended by the manufacturer. One thing I really don't like is the fact that if you plug in an HDMI cable and USB keyword, it will always give you access to a terminal as the default user, which doesn't even need a password to become root either. Is there a general Linux way to set a password for the GUI like you can on regular desktop Linux, or otherwise require authentication before you get a terminal or any other functionality, so someone can't just plug an HDMI cable and keyboard into the device and have root access to the entire device?

🖕 Fuck PayPal

And fuck Linus Tech Tips for intentionally keeping quiet about this after they found out.

I have an unused Windows tablet from 2021 running some Core M processor or other that I want to put Linux on and start using again. It doesn't have a keyboard so I would have to actually use it as a tablet and not a laptop. Is there a distro built around one of the mobile desktop environments that also runs well on x86? (Last time I tried Linux mobile it was pretty much only for ARM and I never got it to work well on even an x86 virtual machine.) Or is regular GNOME deskrop still my best bet for a tablet?
