I tried Manjaro last year and I hated it.

Something about the distro would lock up my PC, it would freeze from time to time.

I disabled the standby/sleep function, but allowed my monitors to go into standby. But if I left my PC for an hour or two my screens would not wake up, different types and brands. I had so many issues with Manjaro and while speaking with a friend I told him I had moved over to Nobara but he was still on Manjaro. But then a few weeks later he mentioned he was running Nobara. Seems he also ditched it.

I have a reoccurring problem in Linux, happening in both Nobara 39 and 40 as well as Fedora 40. I understand that Nobara is Fedora based.

Sometimes my USB headset just does not detect, at all. Plug it in, no notification sound that it has been plugged in and does not appear as an audio device.

I have tried 3 different headsets and none detect. I have to reboot to solve the issue.

A friend of mine is also running Nobara and also comes across the same issue from time to time. It happened again for me today.

While I like Linux, I would love to stop using Windows and make Linux my main OS… I just cannot. Loads of my games and apps do not work in Linux as well as a lot of hardware control software. It took me ages just to get some software to control my GPU fans and I am unable to control my PC fans. From what I understand my motherboard has no Linux support, I cannot see a single sensor in any software I try. I eventually manually set up fan curves in BIOS.

I definitely does not just work for sure.

Adding my Manjaro experience, not good.

I tried it 3 times, fresh installs but it locks up my PC. If my screens turn off after a set amount of time I cannot wake up my PC. I turned off any sleep/standby/hibernate modes, only the screens turn off. If I head out for lunch and come back, the only way to get back in is to hard reboot.

It's like when they were spraying the trees with green paint.

I'm not going to buy a PS just to play a few exclusives/timed exclusives, just not going to happen.

Either the game gets ported to PC, or I don't get to play it. Simple as that.

I thought it was just me, I thought something wrong was going on in my Windows installation.

EA app is also dead in the water for me, my library is not loading. It knows I have 4 games installed but all the names and icons are blank.

Can't even launch the games directly from their own exe.

Xbox One wireless controller.

I saw mentiion that enabling 'Steam Input' may solve the weapon switch issue, it was disabled for me because of all the Helldivers 2 crashes. Even though I play that with keyboard and mouse.

I was able to switch weapons and stances after that. I'd hold the trigger and nothing.

I read somewhere that the standoff issue is an old issue on the Playstation as well. Someone recommended limiting the FPS to 60 to solve the issue but I'm not going to degrade the performance just to do a standoff. I just avoid doing them until they sort the issue out. Another one is to play with the accessibility options, something in there might be an issue. A recommendation is to toggle the 'toggle hold buttons' option.

If all else fails, the good news is that you’re not the only person having this problem. This bug is widely reported on the Ghost of Tsushima subreddit, so the developers will be aware of it. The bad news is you’ll have to play the waiting game and wait for a fix. With any luck, it will come sooner rather than later.

Getting some graphical glitches in cutscenes and the game is really dark in some places and I cannot see. I increased the brightness as well.

I was unable to swap throwing weapons when I unlocked them.

Standoffs don't work about 9 out of 10 times for me. I just stand there and get slashed, the button just doesn't work.

Other than that so far so good. Hopefully they patch it soon.

I have a manufacturer shit-list, and I will never buy any of their products again due to the piss-poor quality.

Razer is on that list. Overpriced crap.

I have Skylines 2 installed on Gamepass for PC and it updated the other day... 54 gigs.

Damn thing basically just re-downloaded itself.

Are these open or closed backed headphones?

The closed backed ones can create a lot of pressure and hurt your ears and possibly give you a headache.

My current headphones are open backed and way more comfortable compared to my last which were closed backed.

You can hear outside sounds easier with the open backed ones though, but for me that is worth it.
