He serves "ok" quality steaks, wraps them in gold leaf and upcharges thousands of dollars. His restaurant is the equivalent of the "I Am Rich" app. One critic called the whole thing dinner theater. More money than sense is required to dine there.

Speaking of AstroTurf, they certainly are the leaders of synthetic turf. Their artificial turf is not only aesthetically appealing, but is designed to withstand the demands of the game.

Web MD. The website. The website designed to make visitors feel a false sense of expertise about their health so that they don't leave home to see a doctor about illness, is threatening their workers to leave their homes, to unnecessarily return to work, during a wave of life threatening and easily transmitable illness, that they will have to bring home.

Last year I was sick for 7 weeks with covid, RSV, the flu, and then covid again. I had to go to work while still sick with covid because I was out of sick time, even though their own policies should have prevented me from returning. I told all my coworkers to stay away from me and avoided them like I had the plague, because I essentially did. Had I actually not cared about other people's health, I could have lied and destroyed the entire department for months with recurring spreading illness.

I had to have a meeting where I was being threatened with a PIP for attendance, while I was still sick and wearing a mask, for my job at a vaccine laboratory.

An adult stuck in a 6 year old body that somehow knows everything and is more mature than their parents and also has money to invest, that I'm sure that won't rouse any suspicions.

Everyone is choosing red because they think they would be rich, but would they?

Imagine having the knowledge, that you knowingly stepped back in time, and all of your memories are now not real. They won't happen again unless you actually act exactly as you had before. No one believes anything you say because you are 6. You're forced to go through school again at 6.

Let's say you use your genius to progress quickly through school. Those sorts of kids become famous prodigies. You would end up on the talk show circuit with Ellen.

You would also know way more about your parents than you should at that age, and cause familial issues that would land you on Dr. Phil.

Imagine how torturous it would be to relive every moment, not being able to convince anyone of anything due to your age, unless you give up the fact that you were somehow sent back in time and know the future. Would you be able to convince your family without going insane? Would any government agency take qcute interest in your foresight? Imagine having to keep a level head while also going through puberty a second time.

How much will your presence affect the timeline? Maybe your first big move to get rich causes all subsequent moves to not exist. Maybe your parents hate you. Maybe it's chaos theory. Maybe you end up taking a path away from opulence and become an addict due to the constant anxiety, regret and boredom. Maybe you become a nihilistic mess that drives you to a worse life than you had before.

I'd take the definite of $10M. I know what I would do with it right now. I know it would be good.

Edit: a downvote without a reply telling me how I'm wrong is really an upvote.

A previous employer gave shares to anyone that stayed 5 years after their IPO. I bought some more through their employee discounted buying program. The share price is less than half what they opened with.

I loathe the company and the people who run it because they are psychopaths that will not take no for an answer. That's also why I never plan on selling those shares. They will be successful, and in 30 years when they are ruthless industry leading monopolistic psychopaths, and those shares have split a few times, I'm going to have a nice little nest egg.

I mean my wife sure is more productive around the house on amphetamines and morphine, and my kids sure are easier to deal with at bedtime when they take their heroin.

Sorry guys, I'm going to rant now.

Does no one else remember that Amazon prime was established for 2 day shipping? That was the deal. Extra money for "free" 2 day shipping. Then they added prime video. What a deal! Right?!

Then the pandemic happened. "Garble garble...SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES!"

SINCE THEN HAVE YOU RECEIVED A PACKAGE IN 2 DAYS? For many people, no. Now that the pandemic is to blame, nothing has 2 day shipping. Now many things have added shipping costs. Now prime video is the only guarantee and its one of the worst values, and worst streaming experiences of all stream providers.

Fuck Amazon. I can't believe a class action lawsuit hasn't been started. I'm now lucky to get any "prime" item shipped to my door in less than a week when the 2 day shipping was the entire reason for subscription.

I'm now gladly paying the Waltons because at least somebody will shop for me and drop it off at my doorstep. Amazon, in my case, has lost a ton of business. Things I would normally order from Amazon I now order from Walmart or eBay, for less money, faster shipping, and a less likely lost package situation.

Has anyone noticed that Amazon orders that have issues are now being hidden from you? Go back and find the last order they either lost or had to be refunded. It's going to take you a bit longer because they don't show it to you in your account. You will have to find the email with the order number to search for it.

Also remember how Amazon's big pull before prime was their easy returns? Yeah well those times are gone. Getting a human on the phone is impossible without finding the right phone number online, and they now outsource all of their customer resources to giant call centers. You will be lucky to get a refund for an item you never received. After 3 hours on the phone I finally got them to refund and item that was at the time, 2 months late. That item was $34.

Amazon has pulled one of the biggest bait and switches of all time and I can't believe it's not more discussed. Garbage tier conglomerate.
