iMessage really is just mostly used in the US, like Japan with Line. Most countries around the world don't use any SMS(or adjacent) services for chatting. So its not really a priority when people barely use it. Unlike the AppStore where every Apple user is forced to use it anyway

Can you even buy these without ending up on a list somewhere? Since its only sold online this feels like the kind of thing that gets you on a list

Look at it from the bright side, if everyone uses it incorrectly it will eventually become the correct version. That's how we got so many romance languages in the first place.

I feel like it might come from the fact most relationships are pretty short before you are 24. Few people hold onto long lasting relationships by that age and few (at the time) short ones develop into anything reliable.

A former classmate of mine met a guy and got married after knowing him almost a year, like right out of highschool. Last I heard of her they went through a messy divorce couple of years later, which we all saw coming and tried telling her about.

My family used to do that, but mostly because they were penny pinchers. Like we had money to buy toothpaste, they just wanted to save it for some nebulous reason. They also paradoxically used up a fuck ton of toothpaste every brush and that's why they ran out so often. I just used a pea-worth and managed to stretch it out

Doesn't the name Torrentio imply that its getting it from a Torrent? Or am I misunderstanding?

Its the whole pay for VPN that stops people, or at least that's what I've seen.

Pretty sure Canonical is the one maintaining most notable snaps

I feel like the second one rarely ever happens nowadays, even the influencers who's voices sound like that end up being average at worst.

I have like 4 of them on a row on my frontpage

It is intentional but not like that, Windows is built on backwards compatibility. That's why so many parts of current Windows versions have seemingly parts of old versions tacked onto them.

It depends a lot. If you are never using MSOffice for anything other than the most basic writing Libreoffice does cut it. Linux overall does just work for the most part if the person using it just plans on using the browser anyway. Everything else is spot on tho.

And funny thing about the gaming performance bit, I'm no expert and this is anecdotal, but my games actually run better on Linux than Windows by default. Dunno why
