How do you like it? I've been trying to get people's opinions on it but haven't found any users yet.

If Valve was the company getting the exclusive deals and preventing Epic from selling things then I'd be more inclined to agree with OPs point.

Did you read the articles? The judge acknowledged that Google is widely recognized as the best general purpose search engine but that part of why they are used so often is because of Google paying people to make Google the default search option which many people never change.

When I shot in highschool it was a team event while also individual. So your team's score is the summation of the individuals scores (pre-finals).

(Finals is like an extra portion for the top few competitors. Your score in finals is added and that's your total. It was added to make the sport more spectator friendly. When I shot it was just 10 extra shots but shortly after I stopped it was changed to top 8 shooting one shot at a time and lowest shot gets eliminated. I believe this is still the case based on pictures I saw of the two finalists shooting side by side alone.)

~~So it's possible he won silver as individual and the team didn't win or also got silver. I haven't actually looked into the Olympic rules or results but that's how it was when I shot competitively.~~

Edit: Looks like 10 meter air pistol categories individual men, individual women, and mixed team are all run at different times. So it was only as a team that they won silver. I don't know about the individual results of the team competition, but regardless it wouldn't have earned a medal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_at_the_2024_Summer_Olympics

Maybe it was intentionally wrong so people reading it might notice and learn the mistake?

Every time I get stuck on something confusing I'm a README and figure it out I try to submit a patch that makes it more explicit.

"my code documents itself" and "no, our CI system doesn't upload the source jars to Artifactory, why?"

Reminds me of the time I asked a question about a Magic: The Gathering card tomy local game store's Facebook page. The card was Sublime Archangel. I asked what happened if it gave a creature Exalted that already had one. Someone sarcastically replied that it already says it on the card. I was a new player, how was I supposed to parse the phrase "If a creature has multiple instances of exalted, each triggers separately"? For all I knew that could mean that they didn't stack because they would need to trigger together. I didn't have the vocabulary to understand those things.

I try to remember this when explaining what I might believe are simple concepts to people because that person really upset me.
