I hope this inspires people to check out Larian's Divinity: Original Sin series.
Remember the net neutrality regulations that douchebag scrapped then opted to make a shitty YouTube video about? I do.
I second Standard Notes. My focus is very geared towards privacy and security and Standard Notes excels at that as well.
NGL, I'm gonna send some $$ their way for this.
There are so many hilariously broken builds. You can play it serious or you can go the full comedy route.
I'm happy to keep the systems different like this. That way D:OS and BG continue to be different play experiences, because I do want a D:OS3
I really like that dice roll mechanic they added in BG3, it's highly satisfying. But yeah, mechanically D:OS2 and BG3 are pretty much the same. I hope BG3 makes people give D:OS2 a try.
Me too. I am using my library card from Austin even though I moved to Wyoming.
Divinity: Original Sin 2, Larian's previous game is #13 and they did that one when the studio was a fraction of the size it is now and on a miniscule budget when compared to BG3. It's just a wonderful studio, full of talent and enthusiasm that starts from the top.
This might not be a very pirate thing to do but I cancelled my Kindle Unlimited when I found out I could get all of them, for free, delivered to my Kindle app, from my city's library via Libby. Books, graphic novels, audiobooks, manga, and more, just there for the taking.
Have you looked into combining Cryptomator with commercial cloud storage? Once mounted, you can search the directory like any other local drive. I only use it for my work directory so that I can maintain an encrypted cloud backup, so I am not sure how well it does when working in a multi-user environment with different levels of access.
