I have "mained" a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme running Pop!_OS for over two years now. I run a company and interact with clients all the time, so I'm not just browsing PornHub all day. My Thinkpad has not let me down yet.

I have a Mac for my music production and graphic design hobbies, but only because I own software for it that only supports Mac or Windows. That said, I rarely use it since Bitwig and Renoise run on Linux. I'll only boot the Mac if I need some plug-in or Abelton. All that's happened is that I have slowly started to gravitate towards DAW-less production.

Day one D1 player here. I finally ditched out with Lightfall (I could not even finish the campaign). I really want to finish the saga but I just can't bring myself to play it. I hear PvP is worse than dead now.

I expect Sony to shutter Bungie pretty soon, which is sad because a Destiny series and spinoff games in other genres that further the lore might have been really cool.

I own it because at the time I was supporting Roll7, one of my favorite indie devs of all time.

Roll 7 game that deserve to be played:

  • Olli Olli
  • Olli Olli 2
  • Rollerdrome
  • Olli Olli World (if it can be played offline)

No certificate now but if I was starting out I would get Red Hat certifications. Also Azure certs.

IMHO, a CS degree doesn't help you at all for sysadmin work but having a bachelors degree does. It is stupid but many employers have a bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement...regardless of what it was in.

Maybe Bing has access to the Event Horizon's portal tech. It would explain a lot.

Yes. I clarified that in a different comment. My original reply was not meant as "Signal is the best solution" but as a heads up that Proton Stealth can not only bypass the block but also disguise the traffic if you want to continue using Signal.

They did away with that some time ago.

EDIT: To clarify, it no longer shows the number.

Signal over Proton VPN Stealth protocol. All free, specifically for these types of situations.

I wonder if there's a FOSS Linux compatible clone.

EDIT: There sure is. http://wordtsar.ca/

Imagine living in a country, proclaiming yourself as rabidly patriotic, and not even knowing some of its most basic laws.
