Only like 1% related to the topic at hand, but man I would love to see SE remake Parasite Eve.

Nearly all Nintendo 64 games can now be recompiled into native PC ports to add proper ray tracing, ultrawide, high FPS, and more in c/games@sh.itjust.works

This. I can tell you from a banking standpoint we were ordering FAR fewer registers and other check stuff over the years and before I left they had reduced the amount we even could order to like 10 books per order, so not at lot and old ladies would come take them all.

This has been my thought every time I see a post about them shuttering studios. They're just killing competition. But for what? They aren't producing quality themselves, so just to leave the field empty?
