I hate this argument, that's literally what the creators of the format called it. Names of things don't always follow the rules of English.

Literally every single time I want to watch any specific movie it's not on any streaming service without buying or renting, and I don't mean new or recent movies. So yeah, I'm pirating again.

You're right, I wouldn't.

Youtube has better anti-adblock now. Other than Invidious, any way around it? Purging and re-dowloading the ublock stuff didn't work in c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Like the majority I am using Ublock and Firefox, but I've noticed over the last month it is very slow to catch up to YouTube ads and I'm seeing them make it through a lot more often.

Everything I need is still in in the old settings windows that haven't changed in 23 years in c/memes@lemmy.ml
