I love my wife but she's totally hypocritical about this. Couldn't care less about any game story I think is deep and engaging, but wants me to know about all about Onyx Storm and Throne of Glass.

Impossible at this point. I'm not even remotely joking when I say I have never seen a more powerful misinformation campaign in my entire life, for anything political even, as I did for brainwashing the masses into believing that NFT = JPEG. Literally almost every human you will encounter knows the term NFT and thinks as a fact that it's just another image file type, but in particular one that was heavily memed and morons/criminals moved incredible sums of money over. They don't understand that a lot of the extremely high dollar NFT sales are just money laundering or other criminal loopholes, they just think really rich people are paying millions for monkey pictures. It's the most lost cause of anything. You might as well try convincing the world that religion isn't real; right as you may be, it's impossible to accomplish.

Copium. Gimp is more akin to MS Paint than Photoshop.
I will never stop laughing at the absolute fucking joke of a suggestion that Gimp is a suitable replacement for Photoshop. It's like saying MS Paint is a good enough replacement for Photoshop. No. Not even REMOTELY. I want alternatives, but Gimp is absolutely not it.
Why does the start menu need to change locations...
The INFINITELY bigger question is why isn't it my choice? I actually just modified my windows 10 to have the start menu be centered, but like, it should just be completely customizable to your liking... as if it were your own computer or something. If I wanted everything locked down and baby proofed I would have just bought a Mac.
Seriously the posts on here make me laugh so much. Linux has never felt like more of a cult than since I've been on Lemmy... And I use Linux! But I also use Windows! I used Windows XP, 7 and 8 all well past their prime and will do the same with 10.
You're right, but also, they weren't faking it. My wife is gorgeous, but every single day we've been together she's announced how fat and ugly she is (she's neither). It's a deep mental issue and they really believe that shit. Usually it's caused by their parents at a young age. My wife's family is really really gross with young girls. They all start playing in make-up by the age of 2. I've already seen it in her poor niece, calling herself ugly... She's 4 and already has a completely fucked up mentality about beauty and her role in society. It's soul crushing, and I knew it was going to happen the second she was born. I fear for us having a daughter and them doing this to her enough when I'm not around that she is affected the same way. I really hope I have a son for this reason, honestly.
