You need a GitHub account first. Use the web installer they link to under the setup section. Don’t forget to enable the actions in your repository because they aren’t enabled by default. Everything else is in the instructions. No coding required.
Their startingpoint repository makes it really easy. You fork it and just have to edit a .yml file to customize your packages. GitHub actions will automatically build it daily and rpm-ostree upgrade works like normal.
You could also look at something like the bazzite repository if you want to do things manually. It’s basically a Containerfile and a bunch of shell scripts that run inside the container before it’s committed. Then you have the same GitHub actions for automatic builds of your image.

Kitty, although I was using Alacritty until last week. I got an update that had a bug related to launching Alacritty full screen. I’m in a terminal all day so I couldn’t be bothered with it. I installed kitty and adapted my configuration pretty easily. I can’t tell the difference between them except for the icon.
It really is terrible. I was a DDG early adopter and then Kagi. It’s been a while since Google has been my daily driver, but I do sometimes use it and the results are just bad. There’s so much spam and the results page is a mess. To my eyes, Google is worse than either Kagi or DDG in just about every way except speed. The only other thing I can really think of where Google is much better is in local search. They are damn good at that.

They are awesome! It’s like what I imagined the future would be when I was a little kid. They’re ugly and weird, but the sporty one is cool. Shit, I’d even take the van if the range is good.
You have a couple options, as others have mentioned: multiple browser profiles and container tabs. The profiles don’t work quite as well as in Chrome because switching between them isn’t as convenient. Besides that, it’s the same thing. Container tabs is where it’s at. With those, you can use multiple profiles in the same window and set up rules to open certain sites in specific containers. Also check out the Simple Tab Groups extension. It’s similar to Vivaldi’s workspaces but more powerful when combined with container tabs.
The usual suspects are ThinkPad T, P or X1, Framework or System76. Some people also like the Dell XPS but I don’t because of the lack of ports. I use a ThinkPad X1 Extreme. It runs great, it’s repairable and there are good premium support options available.
I don't care as long as the placement is ok and I can map it to something useful. I'm a GNOME user so the Windows/Super key gets a lot of use. It's nice to have. A new key that I use for all my custom shortcuts would actually be kind of nice. Who cares that the default key caps are a Windows icon and this Copilot thing? Change the key caps and they are just keys.
I’m not buying that story. It gives him way too much credit and is simply implausible. I believe the reality is Elon has an incredible imagination, issues with executive functions, and lacks empathy. He’s not a mastermind James Bond villain and he’s not as smart as people think he is. Left to his own devices, he makes bad decisions and is easily carried away by ideas that are interesting to him at the time.
Nobody is buying this and I don't think they are trying very hard to sell it either. Notice that this pricing is only in the U.S. This seems like a ploy to bolster their case for damages and/or royalties in a settlement. Or maybe just part of their patent defense strategy. This company is primarily in medical tech. Even if they aren't so interested in the consumer market, they have to protect their patent or someone in a market they do care about will get away with it too. I would assume it strengthens their case if they can demonstrate material damages in a market they participate in. So quickly unveil a prototype, price it so there's little to no demand, don't bother manufacturing a product nobody wants, win the case, cancel the product.
