I've played around 5h, not much, but as I recall it was exactly what you think if you want to design a space race game, you do something basic, get new technology and then try something more advanced. As you go progressing you can do more stuff and get farther away, but it was not fun. I only recall the feeling of "this are the type of mechanisms that sounds like fun but when you are doing it, it was not".

There is a demo, you should try it.

as a boardgame you can have a look at Leaving Earth or to something more complex like High Frontier 4 All.

Computer I played MArs Horizon, but I wasn't a big fun, mostly because at the end I discover that I enjoy the planning but i also enjoy the handling of the ship

If sales are going down, prices of the motherboards are going up.

it's weird, and refreshing, to find someone who actually reads the article and don't base his comments only on the header, and also provides some additional info.

It's refreshing to read to someone that actually says "I was so wrong"

I was wrong also with systemd, I hated it mainly because I already knew init.d, where files are, where configs where etc. Some years later hate is gone, I'm not a power user, but I just now know how to handle my things with systemd and all is good.

I enjoyed the other game mentioned in the article, Strange Horticulture up to a point where it was too lineal or I stopped caring about it, because there were too many plants, cant remember why i didnt finish it This one looks promising for sure

First time I format the whole disk, all msdos data (games) lost. I managed to install it then I opened vim to edit a file and I couldn't get out of vim I know it's a cliche, but there is real. To get out I have to call a friend, using the landline, the one who lends me the floppy disks (or maybe it was magazine cd) and ask he how to get out, he says, just press Shift and Z twice.

if you have powerful enough computer you can use an AI to auto translate subs offline, I use to translate from english with a small python script. It's not perfect, but they usually are like 90% ok
