I go over to my parents' place to meal prep because they have a kitchen that's bigger than mine. They often end up just cooking most of what I bring despite me being like, "Hey let's chat while I cook." I put emphasis on me cooking, but they just start doing their thing and they seem to enjoy it so I just let it happen. I think they think they're teaching me lol

My route to where I volunteer at keeps getting blocked at night by construction. Guess they decided night time was the best time to repave the roads? There is the same amount of traffic at both times

I love all this and the fact that exposure to the sun can make my autoimmune disease worse and can actually do permanent damage to organs and could kill me if I get burnt bad enough. Got the diagnosis right after I got back into riding horses. -_-

Part of my job is keeping all of the endpoints my work manages up to date with patch compliance. I've had to create exceptions for the past two windows 11 updates because they won't run on most machines for no reason. It's been a pain in the ass. I can't just add the machines to the exception list without doing basic troubleshooting because "procedure" and I've spent so much time doing absolutely unnecessary shit.
