They got rid of gold?? When?? I left reddot and came to Lemmy in the third-party apps exodus and haven't even looked back

I disable that shit the next time I'm in the computer. We also manage the updates so users can't run them on their own.

I work in IT and I try to remove all clues that copilot exists when I set up new computers because I don't trust users to not fuck up their devices.

Oh nice. Can you still install banking/credit card apps with Graphene? I've heard it can be a pain in the ass to get around

Right? I hate how there's like no options for phone OS

Does anyone have a good in depth guide on how to de-google? My ultimate goal is to not use Google at all and use Graphene OS on my Pixel

I know a dude who went riding while drunk and almost died. He was being a dumbass and spooked his own horse and it threw him.

Okay, so we just make him use his money for good all the time under threat of throwing him into a skillet.

When I was a kid, I played Black and White constantly and my dad printed off a complete guide from GameFAQs and put it in a binder with page protectors and everything. It was so awesome.

Every day I'm so much more thankful for Lemmy existing. Joining the exodus when third-party reddit apps died has been great for my overall online experience. Lemmy may not have the traffic that reddit does, but the quality of posts here and the community makes up for that.

I love encountering people I recognize in random posts. Found some comments about my horse in a post on a community separate from the one I post pics of her in and the post had nothing to do with her. Made me feel really happy to stumble across that. You can't get that kinda wholesome shit with reddit.

Got thrown out of the saddle by a horse today and got mildly fucked up. I want to invest in more protective gear than just a helmet but there's so many options. I want elbow pads and wrist guards definitely because of the bad scrapes and sprains I got. And maybe some kind of vest to protect me from any gut punches the horn of the saddle will give me if the horse tries to throw me again. My stomach has some nice big bruises from the horn.

How dare my older dog swipe the best cow hoof to chew

I've spent hundreds of dollars on toys and she loves the sock I put grocery bags in (and tied closed) more than anything else.

Idek where she got the plastic she was obsessed with today
