Those are good points actually.

You’ve changed my opinion about how I felt about version 2.

Back before software subscriptions were a thing, I had a few different licenses which I would have assumed were perpetual.

In a way they were, but then my version stopped receiving updates and version 2 came out and they wanted me to buy version 2.

So perpetual licenses don’t mean anything if the company wants to be a jerk about it.

I don’t view this content myself. But people should be able to. Nintendo is driving me away due to their behavior and I’m losing interest in the company.

I doubt I’ll buy their next console. I have less time than I did back then, but if I’m on the line about it, I’ll say no based on their recent behavior.

I live in a city outside of the US, it’s not particularly safe for kids to play outside as there is crazy traffic and nowhere to really go.

There are just a few small parks in the city and they are not easily accessible.

When I lived in the states, I played outside with friends in the suburbs, but stopped around high school, as there were very few kids in my neighborhood and previous friends moved away/outgrew playing as they were older than me.

I’m sure it’s the exact same thing happening in both operating systems.

It’s just clouded cache files that need to be cleaned up.

I still prefer it over windows. If it were not for their absurd pricing, I’d have a MacBook Air over my thinkpad.

I’d much prefer to run Linux, but I’ve yet to find a way to do my main work task on something other than Mac or windows.

macOS is pretty bad about using up storage space. There are always huge 10gb+ cache files for cloud related stuff. Even if I’m like, don’t store it locally.

I’ve not used macOS in years, so many that issue has been resolved.

I know, it’s exactly how I feel about the situation.

They are going to release a new version with monetization soon. Maybe that will be a big .0 release and maybe there will be a Linux version.

So what will happen? Cops will get a see all account and then their will be record numbers of applicants to be a cop 😂

I use Linux for personal use, and Ive been using windows for work due to necessity.

There is one app I need that does not support Linux. I contacted their support asking about a Linux version and they suggested using waysroid to run the android version of the app.

So, when I have free time I’m working on switching things over.

My main motivation is Microsoft pushing ads everywhere and being aggressive about using online accounts and stuff that like.

To share the bigger picture, I’m using this app 99% of my working hours. So it doesn’t make sense to do it this way.

I’d be better off just working out of the vm but due to performance loss and dealing with passing through usb I just use windows.

Although, outside of work I use Linux.

That’s pretty interesting, but it’s a meeting software. So I’m regularly sharing my screen and sharing files. So I need to be in the os. I’ll just key checking it every time a roster counts out for proton or the app I use.
