But desmume is almost dead, no big improvements over a decade

I can't hear the fans of my Lenovo m920q even if I'm running a burn-in test

And it consumes 10w during use which is comparable to many SBC once you consider that you have nvme, SATA, WiFi, two display port, lots of USB 3 ports, thunderbolt via USB c and an additional PCI express slot

So this defensive strategy was planned from the beginning. The L in LLC stands for limited. It means Nintendo won't get any money. Tropic Haze LLC declares bankruptcy and tells Nintendo "our assets are two rolls of toilet paper and this empty can of coke, GL with getting your millions". Certainly cheaper than fighting a top lawyer team with unlimited funding

It doesn't need the software, it gets recognized by the system as a battery

I wanted to run it then I realized that the database would be 90% porn with a sprinkle of csam

The flutter apps and the electron app are unrelated to the server+web.

Same for the separate 2fa app

If you want to contribute to something you need to fork everything.

Because this contains everything that is served by ente in their commercial offer in the way that's suited in a professional way (photos stored in S3-like storage on minio server), not just photos, also future projects you might not want to run on your server like ente lock and ente legacy

This seems a disadvantage, a single repo that does everything seems inconvenient and unnecessarily complex for a casual hobbyist that wants to try the project

They will just buy a VPN from a company that isn't incorporated in Italy (airvpn is based in Italy so they were forced to do that)

And everyone in Italy need to be forced to get a VPN as we (I'm Italian) gave the keys to a few copyright trolls with no supervision or repercussions for wrong blockings.

Saturday afternoon my uptime Kuma telegram bot started to send me hundreds of notifications "your websites are down!" And I panicked. I literally had no idea what was going on. My server was ok, why I couldn't access my websites? Rebooted 5 times, still down. Cloudflare tunnels were giving a weird error. After two hours of troubleshooting and still hundreds of down notifications I just gave up. "Maybe it's an issue with cloudflare" - I thought. I disabled the telegram bot and I went to sleep.

It was the fucking copyright trolls that blocked fucking cloudflare

And no official media talked about this. When Facebook has 3 minutes of downtime, the news on TV act like Italy was cut out from the world for a week. Here the copyright trolls blocked the biggest CDN in the world for a fucking day and the media fucking ignored the issue. Not a single news about that. The block was silently removed, and it never officially happened.

I hope that this disaster triggers the EU to forbid a platform like this because this is too dangerous. What if next time instead of blocking cloudflare accidentally it's blocked "accidentally"?

There's another one after airvpn? That was because they had the headquarters in Italy so they had no other choice.

Some of them are designed for having people buying upload credits. I'm into one where only the admins are allowed to post new torrents, and they keep everything on 5 seedboxes. It's almost impossible to seed back, as their own seedboxes are pushing too much upload, then old torrents are removed and re-uploaded "to gather interest", but that means you will never find new peers. And then they always send messages complaining that they're spending 500 a month for those seedboxes "to guarantee fast downloads" and everyone should become a donator or the site will close. Assholes, those seedboxes are indeed guaranteeing fast downloads, but also are guaranteeing zero upload back

This bunny.net CDN that's $1 for 100GB intrigues me. How does it work? I can't understand from the description. From the docs it looks like some S3-like service, instead in another page "publishing hugo on bunnycdn" it's an FTP to sync via rclone

Got a similar problem with ocz drives before they got acquired by Toshiba. Bought three, 100% failure rate just after warranty expiration
