If you’re new to linux and unsure about what distribution to install, there are plenty of better sources online with distro recommendations. I tend to use Debian on server/headless and Fedora for desktop/laptop. But I will say, picking an option with the KDE/Plasma desktop environment will probably be the easiest transition. It should feel and look pretty familiar to what you are used to with Windows and many distros offer an installation for KDE/Plasma. I have used linux in the past and currently using it i have been using linux more then windows

ngl most of the games that don't work on linux are owned by frauds companies or have issues with management and waiting for affinity subscription to end as well i wanna get rid of the other windows ssd i can get the most space with raid

i wish i can do the same i have a tv tuner running android 4 sadly its a huawei with a HISILICON CPU and i cannot find some adb option and i cannot find a project that supports HISILICON cpus its a old one i found it in my uncles house closet i even tried asking lemmy they said just get a new device mine is obescure i tried some chinese forums the system refused to see the files and download them is a pain i gave up

need it for some apps but its possible i can switch on march 2025 a whole few months before windows 10 ends support

oh yeah speaking of other drives its better since gparted doesnt let you merge it somtimes into one linux disk causing you to reinstall

windows to go can be useful at times but man i dont wanna use win11 as my windows os ik a project called live11 tho

i never used or heard of Traktor DJ but i was getting affinity working on wine (compile the custom wine version) it was way too buggy and no opencl hardware acceleration support.

linux mint(cinnamon stable ,experimental has some wayland support),mx linux(non kde version but am pretty sure kde 5.27 doesnt have wayland out of the box if they follow debian stable release cycle),antix,debian is what i can get from my head
