All the algorithms on bluesky are optional, there's both official feeds and a lot of 3rd party feeds (and they don't run on view counts!), so there's no trivial way to game the algorithms to reach the userbase

There's a registry setting for telling Windows that the target feature release is a specific version (it should be 22H2) which also will stop it from trying to push win11 upgrades

That's trademarks, not patents (although in rare cases "implicit licensing" can be a thing if you don't act on known infringement)
