Oh, it's supposed to be "Post-iz" not "Poz-tiz" like I read it.

Agatha Christie wrote one novel over and over!

Chefs make the same three dishes over and over.

4 chord songs!!!

Life gets really monotonous if you're pessimistic enough.

The very first Youtube video is still up. Any serious competitor is going to need to offer that level of reliability with added benefits to woo users over.

Or just save it to one of those 16tb hard drives we have nowadays. They can't remove it from your own collection either way.

They don't give a shit anymore. The business customers are paying for 365 and the gamers are paying for gamepass. Those are the money makers now. If you want you can run windows, but if you're still running windows apps (including 365) then Microsoft still gets paid.

It famously wasn't Disney. It was DreamWorks which was started by ex Disney employees and this is the first thing they did. The whole thing is taking the piss out of Disney's fairytale storytelling and flipping their previous employer several middle fingers.

Idea: if you mod a community on a lemmy.somewhere you should be able to migrate it to lemmy.elsewhere which would include all post & comment links being forwarded and subbed users having their subscription updated to reflect the new location.

I'm aware this would be a way down the road as user account migration alone is still not great but it would be a great feature for the fediverse to have to avoid centralisation and mod/server admin wars.
