I just started with PopOS a couple years ago. I'm not a power user. I've got one of those crappy travel printers. I think it's Canon? I forget. It worked just fine for me.

My profiles had fun and active pics, jokes, preferences, favorites, dealbreakers, and honesty. But I found the apps so damn boring and disconnecting that I'd forget when I'd occasionally have a conversation. I couldn't get excited at all. It only made me depressed. While I know part of that is on me, it ain't all me. I decided one dystopian corpo shouldn't have a monopoly on romance and deleted my accounts.

Cool. I've already got more books than I'll be able to finish before I die. Might as well get back into reading. Fuck those bastards.

Parents, all you have to do is talk near them about how cool X is to you, while suppressing your gag reflex long enough for them to cringe.

My Surface Pro 4 was getting long in the tooth. My best friend, who uses Arch btw, kept nagging me about switching until he gave me his old laptop when he upgraded. Soon after that, my cat knocked over a beer into it and killed it. So I bought a Framework 13" and put PopOS on it, and also got a Steam Deck. I'm all in on Linux now, except for an old desktop that gets rarely used.

And now I keep my beer on the floor.

Gun manufacturers have been building ever better internal safeties for decades. If a gun goes off from a slip and fall, somebody is carrying like an absolute idiot, or using an obsolete pistol.
