Would you rather he, as a non-government affiliated citizen, pick a side? War is stupid. Communication is great. Maybe this is naive of me, but I think the world would be better, and maybe require less war, if everyone had equal access to communication.

I recently read about Ted Hall who shared nuclear secrets with the Soviet Union because he thought everyone should have equal access to nuclear weapons and this would prevent another world war.

Your logic is similar and it's not a good thing.

We also have people driven to assisted suicide because they can't afford to live.

"In February, a 51-year-old Ontario woman known as Sophia was granted physician-assisted death after her chronic condition became intolerable and her meagre disability stipend left her little to survive on, according to CTV News. “The government sees me as expendable trash, a complainer, useless and a pain in the ass,” she said in a video obtained by the network. For two years, she and friends had pleaded without success for better living conditions, she said. Now a second case has emerged with several parallels: another woman, known as Denise, has also applied to end her life after being unable to find suitable housing and struggling to survive on disability payments."

A 16-year-old girl allegedly stabbed another teenage girl to death in Washington, D.C., early Sunday, police said. The stabbing happened during an argument over McDonald's sauces, CBS affiliate WUSA-TV reported.

Naima Liggon, 16, was brought to a local hospital where she died of her wounds, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

According to police, the teens — both from Waldorf, Maryland — had ordered food at a D.C. McDonald's and then got in a car together, CBS affiliate WUSA-TV reported. The two then got into an argument over the sauces they had been given, which led to the stabbing, WUSA reported.
