Finally got around to signing up to Bluesky after avoiding Twitter for almost two decades and, well...I don't get it. The entire thing is basically just Shower Thoughts, Shower Thoughts featuring politics, and the occasional picture of a cat... That's it? Really? It's like a more boring version of Lemmy and Imgur. Please explain what I'm missing here cause I lost all interest after about 30 minutes on the site.

Fallout: London is pretty decent. It may be a mod, but it plays like a proper Fallout title. Enjoy that in the meantime. It won't completely fill the void but it's better than nothing.
I thought it was common knowledge that the pickier you are on Tinder, the better your matches will be. Swipe right on everyone and you won't have much luck on that app.
APUs obviously weren't a thing yet, and it was common knowledge back then that contemporary iGPUs were complete and utter trash. I mean they were so weak that you couldn't even play HD video or even enable some of XP's very basic graphical effects with most integrated graphics.
Everyone knew that you needed a dedicated graphics card back then, so you can and should in fact put some blame on the consumer for being dumb enough to buy a PC without one, regardless of what the sticker said. I mean I was a teenager back then and even still I knew better. The blame goes both ways.

What annoys you about the ladders? To this day, I find them among the easiest video game ladders to use. No stupid button prompts; just hold W. To go down one, just face it backwards and press S. Simple, genius design.
Half of Europe is also looking at the political shit show going down in America and thinking, "that sounds like a good idea".
Ironic that you would use a country that forces every employee to work late and then go out drinking with their boss every night as an example of a country that isn't insane. A country where managers will harass you and then call your next employer in an attempt to slander you, should you ever dare to move on to a better job. A county with one of the highest suicide rates in the world.
Yeah, totally not insane. Give me a fucking break.
