Standby pointlessly draws power. I switch off all devices that don't run on battery for that reason. But I'm not exactly Apple's target audience anyway since I also consider the price before buying stuff.

This article focuses to much on the glasses/face recognition tech while the actual problem is the database with of personal information and its public accessibility.

Insist, not to pick something then. You can easily explain that it's a lose-lose: either something is wrong with a natural body part or they didn't do a good job. And both of you feel bad afterwards.

Well, they gotta have the expertise. Engagement optimizing systems like YouTube's suggestion feed are known to move users towards outrage.

Then go with your colleagues or any group for that matter, book a class about something as someone suggested. 90% of life is showing up.

If you're too disgusting for anyone to have around, work on yourself first (basic hygiene and not being an asshole is usually enough though).

Do them same - hang out with your friend group, just have fun and don't press finding a relationship. You first get to know people through that group and later interest and maybe a relationship forms.

Not necessarily even that. Piracy can benefit the developer by increasing popularity. Piracy made Bill Gates a billionaire despite his fighting tooth and nails against it.
