I would just remove Goodbye Ads... it has too many false positives, not worth it. OISD + 1hosts lite is all you need (and language specific filters if you visit those websites)

for torrenting, you only really need a VPN and a torrent client, as for precaution, I guess just bind qbittorrent with VPN. and for sites to find torrents, there's plenty on the megathread or fmhy, tell him to use an adblocker like uBlock Origin

have you tried sequential download ? I don't know if it works for audio but it works for video so maybe...

personally I think revolt is a better alternative.
