The worst thing imo is when a form will say they need to verify your identity, so they ask you to give them a phone number you can receive a text at to do a 2fa.
...how, exactly, does that verify anything other than that I own access to a phone number that can receive a text?
Don't you want to...climb? The swings? With the ...naked? Lady?
Discord has a search function tho?
I was gonna be like weeeell but the population of c/technology is in fact 52k so
And how is... Mr? Neighborhoods?
Aw, little Julie tables! I wondered how you turned out after your sister left town. How's the transition coming?
I mean, until it happened it's just a fiction. Maybe time travel wasn't possible at all until we nuked ourselves back to the stone age fighting over what was left after climate change.
Humans. Can't trust 'em for shit.
I'm with you. Even YouTube is classified as social media (which I guess it gets closer to with shorts and comments and everything). I definitely think that, this, and Facebook are categorically different, even if they're all "social media"
Same. Except it's usually more, like, verify an obscure fact or something.
I mean it's all pretty generic. Would pretty much apply to helping someone with any task, with a few exceptions.
