It's no different in Southern Ontario where I live. Saw a semi truck plow into one, it really wasn't pretty. Another left a huge dent on my mom's car when she hit one driving at night.

Yeah, I was worried about it too. I've become pretty cynical when it comes to everything becoming enshittified, but I'm hoping they stick to their word.

Don't twist their words. The plant, when faced with a meltdown incident, was able to shut down safely with no injuries or detrimental effects to anyone, as intended. The plant then operated safely without incident for another 4 decades.
