I’ve always said… “if you legitimately post in AITA, then yeah. YTA.” Because even if you’re the clear and obvious innocent victim in your little story, you’re an asshole for making it up to take advantage of people for upvotes.

Same with the “am I overreacting” bullshit.

See? There is a huge failure of comprehension here as you have mistaken a DDoS attack with a “legitimate complaint.”

They are NOT the same thing. And I won’t entertain a discussion where I have to suspend belief to assume they are.

I don’t give a fuck what their reason is. Whether it’s cheating or the plug was pulled on them.

There’s no reason to act like fucking spoiled little entitled children. No one involved in this childish shit is a victim.

Stop excusing this bullshit.

I promise you: you’re not harassing him. You ARE however, supporting him by having an account.

Reminder: if you still have an account with that fucko’s service-

You support everthing he does.

[–] Soup@lemmy.cafe 5 points 1 month ago

Shit tons of racists.

[–] Soup@lemmy.cafe 5 points 1 month ago

Everthing he does is a win for them.

“It cost a lot, so it absolutely should be allowed!”

Is an even dumber excuse to keep it going.

The onus isn’t on them to cater to everyone. If it can’t be used using Linux, deal with it like a grown up and find something else to do.

But you’re not going to justify DDoS attacking a company because you don’t like that you’re excluded from their product.

These people need to grow the fuck up. The real world doesn’t give a shit about what they think they’re owed- which is nothing by the way.

This shit just makes me hate the arrogance of Linux users that much more.

Oh, and that you all think that downvotes are relevant to a discussion shows your immaturity on the topic. My opinion isn’t popular because it’s nuanced. And everyone within and outside of lemmy know damn well that this platform hates anything that doesn’t paint in the colors of black or white. So… it’s expected to be downvoted. If I posted this anywhere else- it’s be a mature discussion.

All that shit needs to be just down and not revisited again.

If what I want to watch is one a platform that I despise so much that I feel I need to whine about it online- and is a platform that takes advantage of people that create content for it to the point that it makes it to headline news articles-

Then no, I’m going to tell you that I’m not stuck at all. Those that feel they have no choice are.

I have enough strength of conviction to not support such a thing because I’m not weak-minded and addicted to watching videos like they are.

I can very easily walk away from anything I feel is hurtful to others, or just plain shitty. Basically, I just find it easy to not support things I hate.

You’d think this would be a simple and popular way to be- but ironically, if you suggest people stop using a shit platform that hosts things they like, like YouTube- they will turn on you in a second- but if you hate something that offers them nothing in return, like Norton Antivirus well… that’s just fine.

Kids are fucking weird.
