Yeah it does require a tv with that feature. Mine supports it but I've never thought to try it because it needs glasses. (and probably won't because they are expensive last I checked)

I have a 4k BluRay player I picked up for cheap. But I only have like 2 movies for it.

I think we have technology sufficiently advanced for me to have an Iron Golem follow me around and bash my enemies. in c/technology@lemmy.world

Yeah, I'm not a apple fan. I'm just trying to find the silver lining in a crappy situation. "It's less work managing one environment at least" was the thought.

Personally I strongly prefer Android and I'm happy to see the EU cracking down on Apple.
