My friend, my dad used to watch that show all the time, so I have seen a lot of it.
The 2 idiots 1 keyboard scene isn't "one of the only bad scenes in the show," it's literally one of the single most entertaining moments of the show.
And that's not retroactively calling that scene entertaining, it is meant as a scathing insult to the abysmal quality of the rest of the show.
I loved my father, but I constantly questioned his intelligence being able to sit through that drivel.
If you disagree with my opinion, that is okay, but I promise you are not going to be able to change it
NCIS is legitimately one of the stupidest shows in the history of television.
I simply do not understand the appeal
Garbage-tier children's meme
I don't like FromSoft games personally, but I can recognize that they are well-made and aren't problematic in the ways that other major AAA studios are.
So I'll just acknowledge that of course there will be some notable exceptions, despite my hyperbolic use of "all" in my original comment. I'm a huge fan of BotW and TotK and Nintendo certainly counts as a AAA studio, but I think those games are exemplary and also non-problematic in the ways other major studios are. But despite these very real and very notable exceptions, I think my statement still stands pretty well as a general rule.
Oh and the only Santa Monica games I've played are Twisted Metal: Black (2001) and God of War (2005) so I'll simply abstain from an opinion on them as it doesn't seem fair to me to judge them based on experience that is now two decades old.
edit: also I see you were downvoted and while I know that doesn't matter, just want you to know that I didn't downvote you and I don't think you said anything inappropriate or off-topic so I wish whoever did had not.
All AAA games and AAA studios are garbage.
Long live the indie game developer
Very valid. All the more reason to need something to aspire to, imo.
Bananas. I'm not saying it's hard now, but it used to be insanely easy to pirate. Everyone I know my age had a PC full of pirated films and music just searching directly on Kazaa or limewire without having ever even heard of terms like "VPN."
and binge nutrek shit.
I hate how all of the new Trek shows seem so intent on subverting/dismantling the hopeful and utopian world of Star Trek.
Like, at least to me, the whole point of Star Trek is that while we have no shortage of pessimistic dystopian Sci-Fi, there's painfully few major properties that paint a hopeful picture for the future. Star Trek was always an aspirational look at humanity to me; the new shows seem so focused on being tense and dramatic that they forget they're supposed to have that aspirational quality.
Y'all have got to spend some time offline
It's Fully Ramblomatic now, following the implosion of Escapist and Second Wind rising phoenixian from the ashes.
