We've had character fade for decades. Otherwise it can be hard to see upwards for targeting or looking around in third person titles :p

Why uncomfortable?
Over half the country voted for trump, the man who will make everything worse and who appeals to people's most base instincts. Some of the worst mass shootings were under Trump.
I don't think violence will necessarily be contained to Democrats and old style Republicans. The new right likes corruption, which includes POS health insurance companies.
I'd love to play Elite II, though I'm glad that the contemporary franchise is so flipping good. It's up there in my top games of all time.
Not even just ignorable. I literally don't even hear about them until they release on steam and people talk smack in steam reviews. It might as well not exist unless it's on Steam or GOG.
Apparently Alan Wake 2 came out on PC awhile ago, and I literally had no idea until someone bitched about it on Lemmy, lol.

Once I knew it was $600 to repair, I bought a cheaper phone. I had plans to buy a used version of my flagship and raid it for parts, but in the end, it just didn't pencil out financially.
Plus, I hadn't had a phone for a week+ and it was getting difficult to do work since my job requires 2FA on personal devices (a terrible idea, btw).
Pray they don't, but I'm almost certain they will now that the US is appointing complete morons to every portion of the US government. The US won't really be able to help until this rot gets cleaned out. China has four years before we can really help Taiwan again. (Or at least give them air superiority)
The new commentary is really good, tbh. I had no idea how much research and R&D they did. It looks fucking amazing for a 2004 game. The characters in particular.
I've never gambled, but I'm pretty sure if I got 1.630e11 chips at a casino, something bad would happen to me, the casino, and the economy if I cashed it out. I think that's 84 billion chips....
