In prior articles on this, religious nutjobs would listen to police radio and visit the active crime scene and start praying in the middle of the chaos. Like, every crime scene. People and police started getting really sick of their shit during an emergency. Other flavors of morons would also show up to watch shit go down. Sometimes, private information would also get said on the radio such as names or addresses, which could lead to harassment or true crime nuts showing up to victims' homes.

I kinda get why making channels private for everyone but reporters (for transparency) is happening.

Yikes, that is incredibly dangerous. Hopefully, they get recalled to fix that issue. No turn signal stick is going to cause a lot of accidents if people are unfamiliar with the car or are spinning the steering wheel and pressing the wrong button (or no buttons, because it's too difficult).

Don't worry, yiff (furry porn) always makes it past safe search and content blockers, so you will have at least one other category. I'm sure that blocking mundane porn won't backfire at all :)

I'm extremely curious what those weapon systems look like. A missile? Maybe two? 10 bricks? 5,000 ball bearings? Any object hitting anything at ~4,000 mph would do a fuckton of damage.

The other thing is that it could also potentially be significantly cheaper to replace if it wears out. And could potentially be easier to recycle too, if it's common salts. I'm optimistic about it!
