Can someone explain like I’m stupid on kernel level anti cheat and why I should watch out for it? Not a dig at all, a genuine question!

How come TurboVPN can have double the amount of downloads compared to NordVPN and ExpresVPN? ++ in c/technology@lemmy.world

Does it come pre-installed on any phones? Might be a reason the downloads are inflated.
