Half Sword, Exanima, and Blade Symphony might be the games you're looking for.

There's Half Sword, which has a demo and playtest on steam. It's all physics-based medieval combat. Your guy moves kinda like QWOP, and your arms can be controlled individually. You swing your arms with the mouse while holding a click, as it'll lock onto the nearest enemy when you do, and kinda like in Zomboid you want to hit them with the tip of your weapon using the most momentum possible in the swing.
Psychonauts 2 is $5. It's an absolute masterpiece; do yourself a favor and play it.
Cities Skylines is $3.
The Tomb Raider reboot trilogy with all DLCs is only $10.
Slime Rancher is $2.
Mad Max is $2.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is also only $5.
There's honestly TONS of great deals this sale, I'm a little overwhelmed.
Edit: idk how it converts to euros, but those are the ones I'd personally recommend on the cheap side.
I've been getting back into boomer shooters and dungeon crawlers.
I've been playing more Selaco, and I'm excited for the next chapter to be released. Also Burger Flipper has taken my spare time in that game while I'm playing it (it's the idle clicker game-within-a-game).
I reinstalled Lunacid to jump back in and hopefully finish that at some point soon. I've been playing fun demos like Mohrta and Hark the Ghoul too.
And of course Project Zomboid.
It looks like V Rising with Eldritch monsters and deities
That kinda reminds of something. Earlier this summer I had to go out of town and stay in a hotel for work. The hotel lobby had this decorative box with lights in it, but it also had these fake river stones or whatever to look like pieces of colored glass. But they all had the same shape, which was unique enough that at first glance every piece looked totally different.
I believe Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic experience going in blind.
IronPineapple played through the demo of that one for a video a couple months ago. It seemed like an interesting game that was a mix of singleplayer and MMO elements. At first glance it'll look like a gooner game.
Do yourself a favor and do it. It's honestly an actual masterpiece of gaming imo.
Where are you getting this idea that American game devs all make the safest most harmless games possible?
GTA is an American-made game franchise and it's one of the most violent and insulting mainstream titles ever, made by Rockstar, an American company.
On the other side, Tt Games, which makes all the Lego titles of the past 20 years, is a UK-based dev studio. They're some of the safest, least offensive games ever made.
It didn't already?
Or when someone makes one of their games but better
