So basically, 2+ is now not a fixed price.
But it's google, so this somewhat incredibly irrelevant information is still somewhat annoying.
Just because they said it doesn't mean the new use of the code has the same purpose. Perhaps this fork can claim to be for homebrew apps, for example.

Yeah, but it'd become a niche instead of the game that every kid plays. And, of course, updating lets them sell more stuff on their marketplace.
