They are all completely half-baked products being rolled out before they're ready because none of these billion dollar tech companies will allow a product to not immediately generate revenue.

The difficulty is a huge aspect of the game design. It would kind of ruin the game if they took away difficulty.
That being said, Elden Ring already has mechanics to help mitigate difficulty via summons.

I recently read one where the wife was on her laptop and ignoring her husband when he asked her to look at something. So he flicked a lighter in her face, and then she slapped him in his face.
90% of the comments said that she was completely justified in hitting this guy in the face and that she should divorce him.
