you sound surprised that western governments censor things in their news.

this sounds so insane that its hard to believe. but then again, its quite easy to believe. shame that our data is used like this :c
anything that isnt very hard to run should be fine. ive personally ran a distro on an early 2012/2013 mac and it worked just fine. forgot what one but i know it was a very common mainstream one. i also somehow got kali on it so that was interesting too. if you want something easy and simple you should probably use mint or debian if they support imacs, otherwise? its really down to personal pref
it's not porn in general that should be illegal. ONLY pornography where the person has not explicitly said they would like to be in it. such as deepfake porn, or drawn where the person has also not said they would like to be in it.
I'm aware it's already legal, hence why action should be taken. plus videos are just a bunch of photos stitched together so I don't see your point of it only applying to photos.
but then they wouldn't have consented to the creation of porn of themselves. which if it is a deepfake, it is literally non consensual porn.
impossible to enforce and that's if all ai was open. secondly, corporations and companies will never be willing to give out their million dollar AI's for free to the public.
for ripping music from Spotify, best solution I know is spotdl which just downloads an album or playlist link given to it, and fetches the equivalent from YouTube.
not really. kids need communication, as well as adults: since humans are such social animals. what harms young people more is stuff that decreases attention span, unrealistic body expectations, etc not "communication"
