Me: Ooooooohhhh, ok. I know how logistic networks work.

2 hrs later

Me: wtf? Production stopped. Why does this one belt have 5 different materials. Oh....idk how chests work. That's OK I'll simplify it until it works.

suns up and birds chirping

Me: ok, ok. So it's working, but i dont know why.

800 hrs in and I still underestimate the space I need. Best 30 bucks I've ever spent.

I haven't kept up. Are they still 10 years ahead of their competitors? I know they had better yields than, let's say, Samsung.

I remember 256MB sticks were a game changer for me. 1TB still seems unnecessarily to me. You carrying Wikipedia in there?!

That's why they recommended doing it in a group. You start getting tired, slowing down, not pushing down 5cm, etc so you hand off to someone else. It's a workout.

I like how hating on anesthesiologists is universal. Thank you for the chuckle.

Currently in college. They are agnostic as it's all turned in on PDF files, quizzes on browser, etc but my online classes require I install some root kit program to make sure I'm not cheating and it detects if it's on a VM. I talked to IT and they let me borrow a laptop with windows. Slow as hell, but I only need it for the online tests so 4 times a semester.

Nonsense, management has setup meetings throughout the day so that the people that are actually working only get about an hour's worth of actual work done

Fuck, senior year I had a free period at the end of my day so I would walk home early. Come April and high 80s with humidity, I'm losing weight and the heavy ass backpack is making me stronger. One of my classmates, we have lots of classes together, pulls over and offers me a ride home. Several times a week. I'm too shy to do small talk and she's out of my league. Always thank her and start paying her 5 dollars for gas money.

20 years later, I'm in the restroom avoiding the damn kids for 5 minutes and realize... Many such cases.

As an ex catholic, there's a lot of hiding behind the veil of time.i haven't read a lot of apologia and learned catechism when I was 15. Shits vague and blurry to me now, but I remember a feeling that the answers were long winded and not satisfactory. I should read Aquinas and some modern apologia, but epicurus' paradox really sums up the beginning of my journey into looking into all the bullshit.

On the switch from literal to metaphor interpretation of the Bible, I think science has penetrated deep enough into nature that is just foolish to keep fighting it. The drought/ flood isn't because God is punishing you for not believing/ praying enough. Here's models and data, worlds on fire and getting worse.
