Anti-intellectualism seems to be resurgent in recent years. Its the worst I've seen since the Bush 2 era, and it's all pevasive.

I'm willing to bet close to 100% of lemmy.world users are from reddit. Where does this sense of superiority come from?

You might already know this, but you can use a Kagi without logging in on private tabs using a "session link" that looks like https://kagi.com/search?token=[LONG TOKEN HERE]. (Of course, this session link is not perfectly anonymous because the token is presumably tied to your account.)

People are in denial downvoting you. The useful stuff is still mostly on Reddit. I'm committed to the decentralized option but there's no use pretending.

That Snowden releasing the facts and it being brought up in courts, state congress, and federal congress as well as national news all revolved around it being illegal in the USA.

Did it stop?
