If you have to pick only one Desktop Environment and use it till your computer breaks, what would you choose? in c/linux@lemmy.ml

I'm using PopOS Cosmic alpha (not based on Gnome) on my new laptop and like it a lot so far. It has a few rough edges, but nothing I'd switch to something else over. (In fact, I did use the Gnome version of Cosmic until my previous laptop broke.)

How is IRC for Movies and TV shows downloading? it has been a while since I used it. How does it compare to Usenet and Private Trackers? in c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

On Reddit (and probably other places), "Linux distros" or "ISOs" was a roundabout way of referring to porn.
