I think I tried Platinum for a bit but yeah it was too cumbersome to play on my phone.

Sounds good, I'll continue to emulate Soul Silver and Emerald on my phone 😁
As someone who hasn't played a pokemon game since Gen 3, what are they like these days? Have they totally jumped the shark?
Also announced that Clint and Sandy will be marriage candidates in 1.7
I think the point is that the term "child labor" could be broadly interpreted as anywhere from teenagers having part time jobs to little kids slaving away in Victorian workhouses. There's obviously a lot of differences between those extremes and I think most people tend to think of something closer to the latter when they hear "child labor."
Haunted Chocolatier is coming. Might be a little while but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
With HC on the way and with SDV continuing to get updates, I doubt we'll see a SDV2. Would make more sense just to keep adding content. Eric has said he still has lots of ideas for the game and plans to add more updates in the future.
Also, if you're playing on desktop, look into Stardew Valley Expanded. Tons of new stuff: content, characters, maps, you name it!
I've bought this game 3 times and I'll buy it again for another platform if I get one.
After years of playing and hundreds of hours across various farms, I'm finally going for perfection! I was trying to hit it by Grandpa's Evaluation at the start of year 3 but I don't think that's gonna happen haha.
However, that takes away my time constraint, and as much as I love planning crunching and grinding in SDV it's nice to kick back and go at a relaxed pace.
"Elections will be canceled" is a phrase being pushed by bots and foreign actors to increase apathy.
Repeating the sentiment is spreading propaganda for free and surrendering before the fight even happens. Don't spread their propaganda! Elections happen because WE say they will!
You don't think more representation for minority groups is a good thing?
Wouldn't you rather have someone do the right thing for the wrong reason than not at all?
I like how this article does not talk about the anti consumer practices engaged in by Nintendo, that might push some customers away from their consoles.
The average consumer does not care about this. The biggest reasons for people to not buy a Switch 2 are 1) people don't have money and 2) lack of major first-party games. I waited months until I found a MKW bundle for $450 at a black Friday sale.
Once we get the next 3D Mario or Zelda, you can bet they will sell a lot of consoles.
Have you played survival mode? It's a little annoying at first, but now that I've gotten into it it feels so natural and I almost can't play on normal.
Also, Red Dead Redemption 2.
