mastodon users continuing to show why mastodon will never reach mass appeal.

complaining about a tool that makes posts based on an open protocol that allows them to be shared across networks is bonkers.

this is probably the best tool that we'll have that will make social media actually fun to use again since twitter ruined it and segregated every service. if it gets ruined by going to an explicit opt-in service because of the loud minority, i'm gonna be so sad.

if you find any look up my so called life because it was amazing

love this! i'm trans and honestly harry potter was such a big reason why i'm still here. it was one of the only things i loved when i was still in the closet and between starkid, leaky, and pottercast, it resulted in making some amazing friends. fuck rowling but i'll never forget harry potter <3

harry potter is the trio and the fandom not the author

if just annoys me so much that they did away with dvds and blurays - which offered infinitely more value to streaming because of the added bonus features and the fact that you owned it - and then raised streaming prices even though they didn't have to spend as much making the physical media anymore.

dear netflix: may i interest you in the concept of not raising prices every year, not cancelling every queer show you put out, and not catering to transphobic bigot comedians?

apple killing ipods and deprioritising the itunes store probably contributed to this more than anything ironically

because making a legitimate copy of a book is a lot more work
