Bad news: Playstation is starting to block their games from running on Proton. Playstation Overlay is blocked on Linux in Ghost of Tsushima. The same thing happened with the Concord beta. in c/games@sh.itjust.works

Back in PS3 days Sony were the ones that let you install any hard drive you wanted, didn't make you pay for multiplayer, and let you install Linux on your PS3.

But now they are worse overall.

Yeah I wound up just buying the Gamepass games I played most on a good sale and canceling Gamepass. I've been happy with that.

Firefox doesn't have a huge number of pages like Google does. The problem is collusion between browser and websites run by the same company.

Yep lean and mean is best for gaming. Dodge all those utility apps Have nothing running in the background that isn't essential.

They are so poor and so small that they can't curate the content and ads, it's just too much with only billions of dollars of profit to work with.

VPN plus cheap YouTube is probably less than YouTube. And VPN is useful for more than just YouTube.
