Some unions would really put a hamper on that shite

It appears as if the original developer was told to wait for weeks

It's so funny how they've made the misinformation supermachine, but only take action when they happen to display accurate information going against state propaganda.

Not atm. Wouldn't even begin to know where to look.

There's likely a lot of anti spam tactics we can employ. I hope people will help improve it

Feel free to submit a PR for these ideas. For post similarity, ML learning techniques can be used to calculate the "distance" between two posts, but I don't know if with an increasing amount of spam could work computation wise. Especially if spammers start using their own GenerativeAI engines.

My bot has a readme with instructions and we're working on a docker image too: https://github.com/db0/threativore

Much appreciated. Honestly I've been kinda stumped on making my efforts somehow rewarded. My liberapay projects lists is like 2 pages long, but I get less funding than most. I don't know how others get thousands.

The "please help cover server costs" is not clear? Should I write also "press one of the icons below"? Before a couple of months it was just text Btw, but I changed it to make it pop out more

Some instances (like mine and lemmings.world) have automated bots to clean up these spam posts everywhere. I think lemmy world has an automod as well, but maybe it's not working as well if you keep seeing these spam posts?
