No, no. The car is not driving you. You are driving the car. It must do what you want.

you have to understand how to tell the car what you want, and that's the issue at hand

People who've been driving has cars for 10+ years are going to have a harder time adjusting to the way an EV drives. Subconsciously it's easy to forget the differences in throttle response and how coasting works, every time I have to drive a gas car it feels like I'm driving in molasses

Even skilled drivers have trouble adapting at first because of how different it is. Luckily my car has a mode where it drives more like a gas car so the wife and I used that for a while to adjust to driving it, now I almost never use that mode, but if I leave it off and someone ELSE drives my car theyre likely to burn out my tires a bit even if I warm them, there's that much more torque

iSeeCars’ data of over 8 million vehicles on the road in 2022

It uses actual data to get a baseline of brand percentages then expands that to the total vehicles on the road total

Its not going to be a perfect estimate, but it's going to be close enough to avoid major errors unless something weird happened with the initial data (like not being diverse enough, but with 8 million cars that's unlikely)

I don't think it ever did?

Been using Plex 5 years now and all I had to do was click the view drop-down and select "folder view" instead of "collection view" and boom, done

Memes don't have to be jokes

He got reused in the mid 2010s as a very racist meme where people would make him sing some truly heinous shit, actually

Defunctland (I think) did a video on Mac Tonight that mentions it in passing, if you're curious open a private browsing window and look it up, you can likely find the memes still

I wouldn't imagine many employers would be too sympathetic to your arguments.

Duh, they're butthurt they fucked up, but also who cares if they're sympathetic?

If your employee can go months doing nothing then you're a shite boss who's even worse than that employee, frankly

Not them but 9 months into Mint and I've had 0 issues with any games or programs that don't just not work on Linux (fucking anticheat)

Simple, supported, Community that isn't entirely filled with elitists telling you to use the CLI, good comfortable starting spot

Its hard because stop using adobe as graphic designe

Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects all worked when I tried them on Linux Mint 22 to see if they worked

Older versions from before the CC updates for those programs that you can use them for also work and work quite well, though I do understand that there are literally missing features for professional work in some of those older versions

A real Linux alternative (or proper fucking Support but fuck adobe) would be GREAT, but the change likely won't be as bad as you might be worrying

So far the hardest thing I've had to install was called YAD, and that was so I could install Morrowind mods specifically, a rather niche need all things considered, and I've made multiple audiovisual projects on my Linux workstation without having to do anything like that

I do keep a Win10 LTSC on a side boot drive for games with anticheat and any programs I might need there but so far that's literally only been handbrake, which I'm sure there's a Linux version/alternative for but I just haven't had to use it on that OS yet due to work flow

Or machine virtualization, VirtualBox and similar programs are piss easy to learn to use and most machines today should have 0 issue emulating older windows and an old game in a VM

Any issues you might have are going to be hardware related, like really old games not playing nice on no original hardware, but if you've got one of those then just install the last version of the OS and isolate that original hardware machine from any networking and it's completely safe to use as a game console
