It's crazy to me that people allow a corporation with a vested interest in selling all the data it can about you to have cameras and microphones placed all over their homes.

Kind of. Infogrames got the trademark after buying Hasbro Interactive and then changed their name to Atari back in like 2010.
This will be extra fun when it hits two-party consent states and lawsuits roll out.
