I don't even do that any more. I just make sure they pan is oiled and at a decent heat before putting food on it. Putting food on a cold pan will not end well, unless it's really well maintained (and I am very lazy).

I've started eating a fruit (usually apple) after breakfast, and sometimes as an afternoon snack, and that keeps my energy up, personally.

If this is a new regimen for you it might just be an adjustment period. But I'm not a nutritionist. Just some random bean fan.

My favourite is when you have a friend, or known reviewer, going on about how something sucks, and you realise that it sounds right up your alley.

I specifically rented The One, because of Roger Ebert's 1 and 1/2 star review in the newspaper, trashing Jet Li's The One (just to totally date myself).

It's not right, but I'll admit the instance someone is from has an impact.

As a forum user I agree, but would like to add that many forums do have a kind of "demerit point" system for incivility. Where racking up enough points gets you temporarily muted or banned.

My instance requires that users say a little about why they want to join. Works just fine.

If someone isn't willing to introduce themselves, why would they even want to register? If they just want to lurk, they can do so anonymously.

EDIT I just noticed we're from the same instance lol, so you definitely know what I'm talking about 😆

I think you'd work your way in naturally, same as any community throughout all of history.

I suppose an outsider might not be able to tell a web of trust that's only bots trusting eachother, so you still have to think critically about what you read
