Wait what? Background checks on everyone that goes in a Walmart?? That’s an insanely large number of people.
That’s less of an issue with the second game, as you can ignore the timer, but yeah that’s part of why I never really tried the first game.
How is this a relevant question? Nobody said anything about some governing body. There have been discussions on many instances about whether to federate with them or not, and it’s accurate to say that some people think we should.
I won’t even watch a movie out anymore if I can’t have a beer or three in the theater :p

It seems as though nobody in this thread actually read the article. They are not revealing user names on the site. The objection here is having the real name as part of your private profile data, in case of a future data breach. It’s a real concern, but orders of magnitude less serious than what everybody is assuming.
Shame on Ars for the misleading clickbait headline.
That’s typically what you get in return for an investment. The only question is if it’s enough of a share to give control or at least influence.
