Well I guess it's a good thing they didn't accept any of my 3 applications last year. I didn't even get an interview with them smh.

Im also failing to understand why successful people should supposedly be charged more. It doesnt make a difference if the person who committed the crime has more or less money, so they should be charged according to the crime, not what they have.

So the idea is that if something is a $10,000 fine, it will stop the average person from doing it, but it might not stop directors/owners of companies and it definitely won't stop a company from doing it themselves.

I think it's up to Gen Z.

What a crazy dystopian future that will be.

I'm not exaggerating. If you buy a Mogami XLR cable you know it's going to have 4 conductors and it's going to be shielded. I cut open my AmazonBasics 50 Ft XLR cable after it had failed (it started introducing a buzzing noise) and I saw it only had two conductors in it.

Also, AmazonBasics is exactly as the name implies. If you buy an AmazonBasics XLR cable, you know it's going to have two conductors not four and you know it's not going to be super well shielded if at all.

I still don't understand why he was yelling though. What did the coach do that he was angry about?

edit: Oh, he wasn't playing him? Yeah that makes more sense.

Exactly, but it's still a helpful win regardless.

Shit, I didn't realize that people are actually losing digital purchases. That's like the worst thing you can lose. I was wondering what everyone was upset since I didn't read the article (sorry) until I saw your comment.

This is a really shitty move by them. I even say this as someone who likes Crunchyroll and has been using them for years.

Edit: Apparently it's only free digital copies, not purchases, but it's still shitty regardless.

The protocol used for it is a bit of an older protocol, but basically it uses the RSS protocol. It came out in the 90s and hasn't been updated since 2014, and I haven't touched any code related to it since before 2019. Otherwise, it'd just be standard HTTPS for websites like Spotify etc and whatever podcast discovery system they have on their site etc.

You'd pretty much have to with how they pay their workers.

If I had to guess it would be well over $500,000 because they think $260,000 and $180,000 isn't much money.
