There are 2 companies I would never buy from: Apple and Tesla.

The real reason is probably China.

China is Tesla's biggest market. With all this talk about sanctioning Chinese companies, China is discouraging their people from buying American stuff, like Tesla or Apple. They are blaming the production drop on those, and not making a comment about the sales drop.

The prod drop is probably just that, but it's increasingly clear that Tesla is having difficulty selling the cars they make.

it looks like they have trouble selling though. the reason behind the gap is more dangerous than the gap itself.

Tesla's biggest customer base is in China. I doubly they care about American politics.

If you produce a car, you better sell it. You're in trouble otherwise.
