Yeah exactly! I was not Republican or even Republican-curious. But I joined /r/thedonald in the early days because it was hilarious. Then all of a sudden it was like "what the fuck? you guys are serious?"
jballs
Like a lot of users weren't aware of the jokes and took the shit seriously.
That's called Poe's Law and I swear it's a huge reason why Trump became president the first time in 2016. A ton of his internet presence was just shit posting because no one took his campaign remotely seriously. It was all stupid stuff like "Rubio gets blown the fuck up!! Here comes the Trump Train WOOOOOOWOOOOO!!"
It was all pretty hilarious, until all of a sudden it wasn't. And you realized people had gone from making jokes to taking it all serious. A few years later and our country's democracy is on the brink of collapse.
Crazy shit.
Not sure, somehow I heard nothing about it until today!
So apparently they announced this in a trailer a couple weeks ago? How the hell did I miss that?!
Lol I dunno. This is the first I've heard of it. I've been on Lemmy all week too!
Bonus Panel:
Release date announced? It's this week?!
Could you imagine how many times the word "socialism" would be blasted on Fox News if Biden did this?
Especially the context. LMFAO
“Several of President Trump’s staff have told me in confidence that Lindsey Graham is gay,” Loomer said, unprompted during the deposition, according to the Daily Beast.
“Hold on, Ms. Loomer, there’s no question,” Maher’s attorney replied.
Lol at first I thought "no way am I watching a 17 minute video about this." But I was wrong. Captivating and hilarious the whole way through.
My son wanted to play the Battlefield open beta over the weekend. It legitimately took me 4 hours to get their shitty kernel anti-cheat shit working. I can't imagine the average non-technical person being able to do that just to play a game.
I hate to match check the Pope here, but this isn't 600 times anymore. We're talking 6 MILLION times more.
Humans have a hard enough time comprehending a billion. A trillion is even harder.
